Perhaps the deadball era player not enshrined in the Hall of Fame that is most popular among today's collectors, Hal Chase was popular enough in his era to have been featured on five different cards in the T206 set. The "White Cap" card is considered by many to be the toughest. This example, graded GOOD 2 by PSA, boasts eye appeal in excess of the assigned grade. Despite being well-centered and sharp, some areas of foxing near the top of the card, coupled with corner rounding, result in the grade.
