The second of a three-year run of baseball cards featuring PCL players, that were distributed inside popcorn boxes at the concession stands at Lane Field Park, then home of the San Diego Padres. The cards were printed on thin stock, the checklist occasionally including multiple poses of its players. The cards issued in 1950 were all printed in black and white, and while some of the cards are blank-backed, many include an advertisement and brief biographical or career highlights.
