The second of a three-year run of baseball cards featuring PCL players, that were distributed inside popcorn boxes at the concession stands at Lane Field Park, then home of the San Diego Padres.  The cards were printed on thin stock, the checklist occasionally including multiple poses of its players. Due to the regional nature of their distribution, the set was weighted heavily towards San Diego players. The cards issued in 1950 were all printed in black and white, and while some of the cards are blank-backed, many include an advertisement and brief biographical or career highlights.

Picturing star outfielder Buster Adams following through with his swing, this example has been graded AUTHENTIC by SGC, perhaps due to a light trim.  What appears to be paper remnants is visible at the bottom right corner. Regardless, strong eye appeal.
