Gorgeous midgrade example of the tough, single printed high number of Willie Mays, certainly a more difficult card to obtain than his 1952 issue. Well-centered with strong print registration (a condition issue from which this card often suffers), the card does exhibit some of the ubiquitous chipping along the black edges of the text area, so common to this set. Honest corner wear keeps the card in the middle grades, but overall, this is a fantastic card with extremely strong visual appeal.
