D311 Pacific Coast Biscuit Cards are not well known to the average collector but they paint a rich portrait of the Pacific Coast League circa 1911. A small explosion of issues in the 1909-12 time period serve to document the league but with the exception of the Obak issues, none so vividly as D311. This example features Sacramento outfielder Jimmy Lewis, who played eight seasons, primarily in the Pacific Coast League and Northwest League.  Well-worn, the card exhibits some creasing and wrinkling, as well as heavy corner wear.  Regardless, it is scarcity that drives the desirability of this issue.
