Bright fresh 1967 Philadelphia football set the last and perhaps most attractive of the four Philadelphia football card sets of the 1960s. This 198-card set includes key rookie cards of Leroy Kelly and Jackie Smith as well as a significant number of Hall of Famers. The full-color photos are surrounded by a vivid yellow background that is susceptible to wear; centering issues plague the set as well. This collection is a very attractive high-grade complete set that has been compiled in ungraded form. Virtually all the cards have fantastic eye appeal and appear much stronger than their technical grades; condition flaws are limited to minor blemishes corner touches and the aforementioned centering issues. Most of the cards that would grade below EX in the set are a result of centering or poor cuts; overall the set has a NM appearance though the technical grades might be less. A complete condition breakdown is as follows: NM-MT or better: 14%; NM: 28%; EX-MT: 29%; EX: 20%; VG/EX or lesser: 9%. We have selected eight of the set's key cards and submitted them to PSA for grading. The results are as follows: #29 Dick Butkus: PSA NM 7; #29 Mike Ditka: PSA NM 7; #35 Gale Sayers: PSA EX 5; #43 Leroy Kelly (RC): PSA NM 7; #44 Merlin Olsen: PSA NM 7; #82 Bart Starr: PSA NM-MT+ 8.5; #90 Deacon Jones: PSA MINT 9; and #165 Jackie Smith (RC): PSA NM-MT 8. A tremendous ungraded complete set each with beautiful eye appeal vivid photography and the potential for strong results upon submission for grading. 198 cards total.
