Outstanding ticket stub from an October 21 exhibition game where a team assembled by Dizzy and Daffy dean played the Negro League champion Pittsburgh Crawfords. 12,000 fans crowded into League Park that day to see the Crawfords win the game, 4-1, behind the pitching of the great Satchel Paige. Paige strike out 13 in the game, in which Dean played outfield, pitched, and coached. Of course Dean was just a few weeks removed from the 1934 World Series, the final month of that season witnessing the superhuman pitching performance of the Dean Brothers. The ticket stub has been graded VG 3 by PSA, with a small stain on the reverse, along with a light wrinkle across the stub.
