PCL Hall of Famer and San Francisco legend Lefty O'Doul is pictured here on this 1927 Zeenut PCL card.  By 1927, O'Doul's arm trouble had forced him to make the transition to outfield, becoming one of the game's great hitters (be batted .398 with 254 hits with the 1929 Philadelphia Phillies). This example has been graded FAIR 1.5 by SGC, though quite sharp. A diagonal corner crease can be seen at the upper left, extending from O'Doul's bat to the top edge of the card. Additional, lesser wrinkles are visible throughout. The eye appeal for the grade is, however, strong.
