The first non-mainstream card to feature future Yankees Hall of Famer Yogi Berra, the 1947 Tip Top Bread issue captures Berra during his first full season with the Yankees, when he would hit .280 with 11 home runs in 293 at bats. Berra would eventually win 10 World Series rings on his way to a Hall of Fame career that saw him in the MVP running virtually every season he played, capturing three along the way. The card, typically found in low grades, has been graded EX/NM 6 by SGC, with very light corner wear the primary condition flaw. Of 19 examples graded by SGC, only two have attained the EX/NM plateau with just one higher. A tremendous example of Yogi's first card.
