Type I photo depicting 1966 Baltimore Orioles standouts Brooks and Frank Robinson. 8" x 10" photo provides a fantastic look at the Baltimore sluggers during a season in which they captured an American League pennant and swept the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series. Frank Robinson would achieve baseball's triple crown that year, leading Major League Baseball in batting average (.316), home runs (49), and RBI's (122). Frank was also bestowed with AL MVP honors and, after blasting two home runs in the World Series, was named 1966 World Series MVP. Brooks Robinson, who appears to Frank's left, finished the season second overall in AL MVP voting. Crisp and bright photograph exhibits typical light corner wear for a working press photo, with a handwritten notation applied to verso in ballpoint. Authenticated as a Type I photo by PSA/DNA and includes their full LOA.
