Fresh to the hobby Type I photo depicting Henry Louis Aaron in 1973. Bright, clean 7" x 9" example depicts Hammerin' Hank at the plate as he approaches Babe Ruth's record of 714 career home runs. According to paper caption on verso the image was captured on 6/13/1973, placing it just prior to Aaron's 690th home run. Aaron would finish the season at 713 home runs for his career, one home run shy of The Bambino who he ultimately tied on April 4, 1974 and surpassed just four days later. A fantastic depiction of Hank Aaron who appears locked in and ready to destroy another baseball, Chief Wahoo looking on from his left sleeve.
