Scrapbook damage and resultant paper loss is what dooms this card to a low technical grade. The front however is quite beautiful with sharp EX to EX/MT corners and a clean surface. Scrapbook damage is a double-edged sword with graded prewar cards as the damage always reduces the technical grade but the scrapbooks themselves protected the cards from excessive wear.
