Visually-pleasing 1916 Herpolsheimer card of Hall of Fame catcher Roger Bresnahan, graded GOOD 2 by PSA due largely to a crease traversing the card at Bresnahan's chest.  The image quality is exemplary, as is the ad on the reverse.  A tough card from an extremely desirable issue. Due to their relative scarcity, the Herpolsheimer cards of 1916, which advertise a Michigan department store, command a significant premium in comparison with more common issues sharing the M101-4/5 images.  Though PSA's population report indicates they have graded no Bresnahan cards in this issue, this is clearly not the case, as this example was submitted by LOTG this summer. The population error is an indication of exactly how difficult this card is - Bresnahan is one of the most difficult cards in the issue, his Mendelsohn cards are all rare, since he only appeared in the M101-5 issue and is typically more scarce than other examples from the same issue.  A very rare card.
