The PC796 issue is one of the most visually appealing and widely collected postcard sets featuring baseball players of the period. Issued in 1910 by an unknown manufacturer, this set mirrors the Novelty Cutlery postcard set and uses many images seen in different baseball card and baseball supplement sets.

Graded a VG 3 by SGC, this example depicts Chicago's Orval Overall in a brilliant pose with his leg kicked high and ready to hurl a baseball. Though centering is slightly northwest on the canvas, this card does not have any major flaws and its only real imperfection is a little staining. The postally unused reverse is clean and bright. Overall this is a superb PC796 postcard with a brilliant action pose.

SGC has only ever graded 15 total examples of this 1910 PC796 postcard, with only TWO receiving a higher grade than the VG 3 offered here of Orval Overall.
