This autograph is from the James Furner Collection, a wide array of sports, political, historical and entertainment industry signatures obtained by Mr. Furner over his lifetime and recently consigned to Love of the Game Auctions. Items from the Furner Collection are proudly presented throughout the auction. 

Presented here is a signed photograph of iconic astronaut Neil Armstrong, best known as the first man to walk on the moon during the Apollo 11 space mission in the summer of 1969. PSA/DNA has authenticated this signed image of Armstrong, looking regal in his space suit. Please note that Armstrong's autograph here exhibits some fading. 

Armstrong, from a small town in Ohio, was a reluctant hero and became a challenging autograph to obtain, especially later in his life. Mr. Armstrong passed away in 2012.
