The 1952 Coca-Cola
Tips cards were a 10-card set distributed in the New York area
featuring players from the three New York baseball teams. Though widely
popular, due to the die-cutting, these are highly condition-sensitive.
Yankees second baseman Gil McDougald is the
subject of this example, graded VG-EX 4 by
PSA with some surface wear on the bottom half and and softer corners and edges.
The scarcity of this issue far outweighs any cosmetic flaws on this example. PSA has only ever graded 30 total examples of this card.
