Second baseman Paddy Siglin had several cups of coffee with the Pittsburgh Pirates between 1914 and 1916 hitting .180 in 50 total at bats during that time. In 1917 he moved to the Pacific Coast League where he would play for nine much more successful seasons capping a 13-year minor league career. His lifetime batting average in the PCL was a respectable .283 his best season 1921 when he hit .344 for the Salt Lake City Bees. Depicted here on his 1917 Zeenut PCL card the scarce card has been graded POOR 10 by SGC the presence of the Zeenut coupon at the card's bottom the most important element of the card. The coupons were typically removed as part of a redemption offer and thus a significant premium is assigned to Zeenuts that have retained the coupons.
