Collector Dan Busby described himself as a "ticketologist," and we simply described him as a lovely human being. Before his passing in 2022, he took great joy in sharing his knowledge and research with the hobby, helping to decipher the ticket lettering and numbering codes in several fantastic reference books, most notably Before and After Babe Ruth and Before and After Jackie Robinson.  Both books are indispensable. 

The book helps us trace this example to the 1908-1910 period (most likely 1909, which would date this ticket stub to a September 8 doubleheader against Brooklyn).  FAIR condition with some surface wear and wrinkling, the stub also advertises the Midland Beach Seaside Resort on the reverse.
