Gorgeous higher-grade example of Mickey Mantle's 1956 Topps card graded NM 7 by PSA. Mantle's 1956 season was an epic one as he won the Triple Crown with a .353 batting average 52 home runs and 130 RBI also leading the league in runs for good measure capturing his first MVP award and helping the Yankees to a World Series victory over Brooklyn. The card features the rough cut edges of so many 1950s Topps cards (which also serve as a testament to the natural cut of the card) sharp corners and a slight top-to-bottom centering issue. Still higher grade Mickey Mantle cards are among the most desirable cards in the hobby and this should be no exception. An outstanding card.
