1954 Topps is an underrated baseball set period. Stacked with important rookies and stars the cards feature brilliant color backgrounds attractive portraits and action images of each subject along with a team logo player biographical information and recent stats. The design lends itself to centering issues making high-grade examples difficult but the cards themselves are attractive in mid grades due to their large size and vibrant color. Such is the case with this card of Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson depicting the Dodgers great smiling for the camera. Graded EX 5 by PSA the card is slightly off-center with mild corner wear but all in all is very attractive. An excellent example of a key card from one of the more beautiful mainstream issues of the decade.
