Timothy Brosnan played 38 games for the Sioux City Corn Huskers of the Western Association at the end of 1888, then stayed there for all of 1889 and 1890. Brosnan has six cards in
the N172 set, and even though this version - depicting him as a member of Sioux City, catching a ball with his hands neck high - has only had two examples graded by PSA.
While the image is slightly faded after 135 years, specifically toward the top half of the card, the bottom half is still very visible and the text is legible, depicting Brosnan with the Sioux City club. There is some light chipping toward the bottom left edges of the front, but the card's Authentic grade seems to come from suspicion of a light trim. PSA has only ever graded two total examples of this 1887 N172 Old Judge pose.
