Despite the grade of POOR 10 assigned by SGC this is a gorgeous Exhibit card of Yankee great Lou Gehrig in his landmark 1927 season where he would bat an incredible .373 with 47 home runs and a league-leading 173 runs batted in with 52 doubles winning the MVP award despite his teammate Babe Ruth's 60 home runs. The card displays much of the wear one would expect with a POOR-graded card including creasing and significant corner wear and yet the image of Gehrig is still bold and clear as the Hall of Fame first baseman demonstrates his swing for the photographer.
