Patricularly attractive and colorful example of Hall of Famer George Davis' sole T206 card graded EX 5 by PSA. Well-centered with a clean surface the print registration of the red color pass is slightly off not in such a way that disrupts the image though a small line of red can be seen above the top border of the card. None of this interferes with the clean and sharp image however of one of the unsung Hall of Famers in the T206 issue. Davis' name has been mentioned much more frequently recently as the retirement of shortstop Derek Jeter has prompted a discussion about his place amidst the all-time greats. Davis has during those discussions merited inclusion in many a list perhaps finally getting his due.
