"Indian Bob" Johnson was an outfielder who managed a batting average of .296 with 288 home runs over a 12-year career, making the All-Star team eight times. Johnson finished his career in 1945, but participated in Old Timer's Day at Yankee Stadium, a game that celebrated the 1939 All-Star team. Johnson was presented with this handsome mechanical clock for his efforts. The handsome piece measures 7" x 8 1/2" x 5 1/4". Mechanical, Swiss-made LeCoultre ATMOS clock is constructed of shiny brass or similar metal, with glass windows at the sides and top. A very expensive, high-quality clock, it remains in outstanding condition, the glass reverse panel has cracked, both pieces still present, but we have removed the panel and will ship it separately with the piece. A tremendous decorative piece, in strong condition.
