Spectacular Exhibit card of Babe Ruth issued in 1927, the man's most legendary season, when he set the single-season home run record by clubbing 60, a record that would stand until broken by Roger Maris in 1961. Graded VG 3 by SGC, the card demonstrates some edge chipping and corner rounding consistent with the grade, with a light but visible wrinkle that runs almost the entire height of the card, from Ruth's shirtsleeve to the bottom edge of the card near his left foot. The wrinkle is visible on the front and back of the card, breaking the surface on the front in one tiny speck. Despite the flaw, the eye appeal of the card is exceptional, with light edge chipping and corner wear hardly disrupting the strong image.
