The first series of cards in the T206 set were issued beginning in 1909 in cigarette and loose tobacco packs through 16 different brands owned by the American Tobacco Company. It is a landmark set in the history of baseball card collecting due to its size and rarity, with cards of over 500 major and minor-league players issued in the set through 1911. It is known informally as the "White Border" set due to the distinctive white borders surrounding the quality color lithographs on each card.

There are two different Harry McIntire cards included in the T206 set. The first version lists his team solely as Brooklyn, while this version lists him as playing for Brooklyn and Chicago. One of those cards in the T206 set which just gets the sky in the background right, this issue's use of color is beautiful and realistic. From the grass and Harry's Brooklyn cap and uniform, to the clouds and sky, the eye appeal of this card is off the charts. Centering is very nice, save for some minor diamond cutting which leaves the top left corner just a hair higher than the right. The edges are very crisp, as are the right two corners, but the top and bottom left corners show a little softness. Those corners, along with a minor print registration error and an overall darker tone to the image keep this card from grading even higher than it already has. The Old Mill back is clean and bold, with only a couple minor spots of tobacco staining.

PSA has only ever graded 24 total examples of this T206 with an Old Mill back, with only five receiving a higher grade than the VG-EX+ 4.5 offered here of Brooklyn & Chicago's Harry McIntyre.
