One of Mantle's more popular "Special" Topps cards, identifying him as a
1960 All-Star selection. This example, which was part of the scarce high number series, graded EX-MT 6 by PSA, with bright, bold colors and great registration. Some minor diamond cutting leaves the top left corner just a hair higher than the right, which keeps the card from grading even higher than it already has, but the image is crisp and
the corners and edges sharp for the grade. Mickey Mantle cards of all grades are always in high demand with cards
from earlier in his career highly coveted. The scarcity of high number
cards from the early 1960s adds to the appeal of this card one of
Mantle's most attractive and most interesting mainstream issues.
