With "The Logo" Jerry West passing away in 2024 even more attention is being given to his career and collectibles. His 1961 Fleer rookie card, presented here in a SGC 3, is an essential card for any serious basketball collection. The '61 card is especially interesting because the Laker jersey style and "giraffe mascot" on display in this issue were short-lived in the franchise's long history in Minneapolis and Los Angeles.
