Presented here is an attractive complete set of the 1970 Topps Scratch-Off issue. Distinguishable from their 1971 counterparts only by their white centers,  the issue was designed for game play so cards with unscratched centers are difficult to find. Each of the cards present well, though some suffer from the aforementioned scratch-offs and several are typically off-center for the issue. Note that our original description graded the set an average VG/EX, but due to collector interest we have elected to provide breakdowns of each of the set's 24 cards. Though most of the reverses show tiny abrasions or specks of white underneath the black scratch offs, NONE of the cards have been physically scratched off by a game player.  Please note that these breakdowns do not account for heavy folding at the center, a fault we would typically address but it seems to affect every card due to the manner in which they were distributed. 1) Hank Aaron (HOF): VG/EX, mild toning, off-center left to right, some slight surface abrasions on the reverse. 2) Rich Allen: EX, slightly off-center, surface abrasion removing a tiny bit of the scratch-off in the first row, fifth square from bottom. 3) Luis Aparicio (HOF): EX, slight corner wear at the bottom left. 4) Sal Bando: EX+, some minor corner wear at the bottom left, with centering northwest on the canvas, some light marks and minor surface abrasions on the reverse. 5) Glenn Beckert: VG/EX+, lightly toned, clean reverse. 6) Dick Bosman: EX/MT, centered to the left, some areas of light surface abrasion revealing tiny white specks under the black scratchoffs in places. 7) Nate Colbert: EX, a few light abrasions revealing white under the black scratchoffs here and there. 8) Mike Hogan: EX, light toning, corner wear. 9) Mack Jones: EX.+. 10) Al Kaline (HOF): VG, sharp with some light corner wear, minor surface abrasions revealing some white underneath the black scratchoffs in places. 11) Harmon Killebrew (HOF): EX/MT, clean with very light wear. 12) Juan Marichal (HOF): EX/MT, some softness at the left edge. 13) Tim McCarver: VG/EX, light toning. 14) Sam McDowell: VG/EX, off center with some light surface wear at the reverse. 15) Claude Osteen: VG/EX with light toning and mild surface abrasions on the reverse revealing some white in places. 16) Tony Perez (HOF): EX, a few minor surface abrasions on the reverse. 17) Lou Piniella: VG/EX, light corner wear. 18) Boog Powell: VG, off center with light corner wear and some surface abrasions on the reverse visible in both the red text box and revealing some white underneath the scratchoffs. 19) Tom Seaver (HOF): VG, toning and some surface wear on both the front and back, revealing some white underneath the scratchoffs.  20) Jim Spencer: VG.  Appears stronger, some roller lines have removed thin strips of scratch off on the reverse, not enough to reveal the text underneath but revealing two long, thin white lines that run left to right across the card back. 21) Willie Stargell (HOF): EX+ with some light toning and surface wear revealing specks of white underneath the scratch off.  22) Mel Stottlemyre: EX/MT with light but even toning and a few specks of white visible on the scratch offs. 23) Jimmy Wynn: EX, off. center with a few specks of white on the black scratch offs. 24) Carl Yastrzemski (HOF): EX, off center on both front and back with some tiny specks of white underneath the black.  24 cards total.
