Exceptional ticket stub from the September 30, 1956 Ebbets Field game between the Brooklyn Dodgers and Pittsburgh Pirates. Jackie Robinson batted cleanup in that game, the third baseman going 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the 3rd inning off Bob Purkey.  The ticket stub has been graded POOR 1 by PSA due to heavy creasing and small tears along the top half.  

The significance of the stub is clear: it represents the final regular season game for Jackie Robinson.  The Dodgers would advance to the postseason, losing to the Yankees in 7 games, the 37-year-old Robinson batting .250 for the Series and the Dodgers taking a 9-0 drubbing in the 7th game.  During the offseason the Dodgers would vacate Ebbets Field and move west to Los Angeles, and Robinson would elect to retire from the game.  Though Robinson would play seven games after this, including four at Ebbets Field, this stub represents the final regular season game played by the most important figure ever to take the field.  A ticket stub of extreme significance.
