Outstanding collection of crisp photographic cards from the 1936 Goudey set, a 25-card set consisting of portrait photos and script player identification resembling the "wide pen" typography of the R314 issues.  Culled from an original owner collection that we have been offering for the past several auctions, these are very attractive midgrade cards, carefully stored away in the same family since their year of issue.  Condition averages VG to VG/EX, with a few better and a few lesser.  Collection includes Berger (2), Bonura, Bordagaray, Cochrane (2 - HOF), Crosetti, Cuyler (HOF), Derringer, R. Ferrell (HOF - POOR condition), Gomez (HOF), Harris (HOF), Higgins, Klein (2 - HOF), Vosmik, Werber (2).  A largely clean group of original-owner cards representing more than half a complete set, with a few duplicates for trade bait.  18 cards total.
