New Jersey native Dick Seay was a second baseman who had a lengthy career in the American Negro Leagues playing alongside Ray Dandridge Mule Suttles and Willie Wells on the Newark Eagles' "Million Dollar Infield " the only member of that infield not in the Baseball Hall of Fame today. Seay was an outstanding defensive infielder named by Satchel Paige as the best second baseman in all of Negro League baseball. A light hitter his lifetime batting average in the Negro Leagues was just .204. Presented is a gorgeous card from the 1950-51 Toleteros issue graded EX 60 by SGC well-centered with a very pleasing overall appearance. A lovely example of a forgotten Negro Leaguer.
