I have one to sell!
Issued in Cuba as a premium by Billiken cigars these cards have become extraordinarily popular among advanced collectors largely due to the player selection which includes many players from the American Negro Leagues. Many of the surviving Billikens are hampered by faded images (similar to the Old Judge issues in America). No such flaw exists with this card of Ivy Griffin playing ball in Cuba in hopes of extending his Major League career which ended in 1921. Griffin continued in the minors playing first base with the Milwaukee Brewers of the American Association through 1925 then resuming his career three years later continuing on in the lower level minor leagues as both a player and a manager through 1942. This card graded VG 40 by SGC due to edge wear and a glue stain on the reverse (a common occurrence with Cuban cards which were often stored in scrapbooks) has a stunning image of Griffin then with Club Marianao.
