In recent years the more scarce T206 back varieties have been fetching significant premiums over their Piedmont and Sweet Caporal cousins a development that has evolved far past being a "trend" and has established itself as being the norm with respect to T206 cards. Few back varieties have appreciated more than the Cycle 460 back once considered only slightly more scarce than its Cycle 350 companion but now priced significantly higher. This example of Senators catcher Gabby Street is emblazoned with the difficult Cycle 460 back (considered at T206Resource.com to be the 15th most scarce T206 back of the 37 varieties). The elegant border and Cycle logo are bold and unique the ads dominant and attractive on the back of the cards. Street the "Old Sarge" known for catching a ball dropped from the top of the Washington Monument and or being the great Walter Johnson"s catcher is one of the more popular non-Hall of Famers in the T206 set and this example is a strong VG with excellent centering and color but some dirt and border wear along with mild corner creasing and wear that account for the grade. An excellent example of a very collectible card with a scarce back.Population DataSGC Population: 1 total graded (this one)PSA Population: 4 total graded 2 at this level 2 higher** Since PSA only recently began categorizing T206 cards by back variety it is likely that other Street cards exist with the Cycle 460 back currently categorized in their pop reports as "Unknown back."
