2% NM, 22% EX-MT, 33% EX, 24% VG-EX, 20% VG, 4% GOOD.  Strong complete set from Fleer's first attempt at a set from the newly-formed AFL, the set included many players that appeared only in this issue and were never committed to cardboard again.  Since the set featured players from a brand-new league, it is loaded with rookie cards, including the key card of Jack Kemp.  The key cards grade as follows: #17 Dubenion (EX), #20 Baugh (VG-EX), #58 Blanda (EX), #66 Cannon (EX-MT), #73 Haynes (G), #76 Lowe (G), #84 Woodard (VG-EX), #116 Stram (VG-EX), #118 Mix (VG), #124 Kemp (VG-EX), #128 Maguire (VG).  The primary condition flaw within this grouping relates to centering; the upstart card company simply did not focus on quality control at all. Regardless, these cards are bright and colorful, well-designed, and the set reasonably clean.  132 cards total.
