Attractive postcard produced in 1940 by Havana radio state Cadena Azul to commemorate the St. Louis Cardinals' pre-season visit to Cuba where they played four games against a Cuban All-Star team. The Cardinals won three of the four games they played and included eventual Hall of Famers Johnny Mize and Enos Slaughter both featured on the postcard. The postcard itself has been graded FAIR 20 by SGC due mostly to writing on the reverse but also due to some mild creasing and corner/edge wear. Still this is an interesting team postcard produced in Cuba to commemorate a visit from an American major league ballclub.
