Heavy chipboard box with the logo for Bishop & Company Place Prunes emblazoned on the lid.  A very elegant box in its day, the piece measures 6 1/2" x 1" x 5" and presents extremely well despite some significant wear around the top edges. The interior of the box is ringed with lace, and still includes a small promotional advertisement that was packaged with the prunes.  Of interest to collectors due to Bishop & Company's production of several PCL baseball card sets around the turn of the century.
