Pair of ticket stubs for the Dallas Cowboys' Texas Stadium opener, October 24, 1971 against New England.  Opening the season with the same quarterback controversy between Roger Staubach and Craig Morton, Staubach would take over by the beginning of November, and Dallas would win their last 7 games to take the division.  The home opener took place on October 3 at the Cotton Bowl, but two weeks after their first Monday Night Football win, the Cowboys christened Texas Stadium with a 44-21 rout of the Patriots.  Both tickets are in FAIR condition with irregular tears at the perf, as well as some light wrinkling.  Two stubs total.
