12-page official scorebook, measuring 5 3/4" x 9", from a game between the Philadelphia Phillies and Boston.  Though the scoring is incomplete, we can deduce that the game occurred on August 1, a 1-0 Boston win with the run scored in the bottom of the 9th.  The Philadelphia Hall of Fame outfield of Billy Hamilton, Sam Thompson and Ed Delahanty scored 341 runs, behind manager Harry Wright.  The scorebook does exhibit some light soiling and a few minor creases, with some areas of foxing and light wear to the string binding.  Despite the wear, this is an excellent early scorebook, including Ed Delahanty, one of the most highly sought-after 19th Century subjects in the hobby.
