Excellent scorecard for an 1885 exhibition game between the Yale baseball team and the Philadelphia Athletics.  Though the scorecard has not been used, we know that the Athletics won the game 12-7, jumping out to an early lead and not really looking back.  Possible future Hall of Famer Harry Stover played in the game, getting two hits, Amos Alonzo Stagg getting a hit and scoring a run for Yale.  The scorecard presents well, strong and intact, but some surface wear and resultant discoloration is evident on the cover, with two small pieces of tape affixed to the inside pages along the right edge, likely from scrapbook mounting long ago.
