Issued in Michigan and on the West Coast, the 1975 Topps "Mini" issue was a test to see how collectors would perceive cards that were 20% smaller than standard.  For some time, the cards were considered scarce, as they were quickly sold out and became difficult to find.  Many of the cards were purchased by collector Charlie Conlon, and when he passed away in 2009, 26 unopened cases found their way into the hobby.  From these cases, many high-grade sets were assembled, reducing the scarcity of the cards, and complete sets. Unopened packs, however, are still considerably more scarce than the regular-sized packs.  This unopened cello pack has been graded MINT 9 by PSA, and features card #199 - the 1961 MVP card with Roger Maris and Frank Robinson - on the reverse.
