The Hall of Famer's chiseled jaw is front and center on this extreme close up with his hands at his chest. A beautiful blue sky background lends some bright color to an image dominated by white. Centering is south and east on the canvas, and a soft right edge with a crease near the upper right corner help explain the card's technical grade. Corners present stronger than the grade would suggest, but some staining, some light paper loss, and a potential burn spot on the Piedmont back further explain the grade. The front still has massive eye appeal, so don't let the grade fool you.
