Wonderfully sharp corners and edges steal the show on this gorgeous, colorful, higher-grade Gandil. The sky in the horizon has green, yellow, orange, and red shades, while the White Sox First Baseman swings in the foreground wearing his white sweater with blue cap and pants. Centering is south and east on the canvas, otherwise this offering would have graded even higher than it already has. The Piedmont back also suffers from some centering issues, with the print far west on the canvas, but the text has remained the bold dark blue color that came off the press 115 years ago. PSA has graded 204 total examples of this Piedmont back version of the Gandil, with only FIVE receiving a higher grade than the EX-MT 6 offered here.
