John McGraw holds one finger in the air, presumably signaling to his team how many outs have been recorded thus far in the inning, in this offering. A blue sky and green grass background add some color to the image which is otherwise dominated by the white pants, uniform, and cap worn by McGraw. Nice edges counterbalance some soft corners consistent with the grade. A light crease in the upper right corner and faint surface abrasions along the right side explain the card's technical grade. The Sweet Cap back is bold and nicely centered while showing light tobacco staining. A fantastic example of the Hall of Famer.
