Cecil Butler went 2-0 in 9 games for the 1962 Braves. After a start on May 19th of that year, he suffered a severe elbow injury and
was very slow to recover. He made only two appearances with the team over the final four months of 1962, spent 1963 in the minor leagues, and only got into two more games for Milwaukee in July of 1964 before his Major League career was over, having appeared in only 11 games.
His 1963 Topps card commemorates a season that never was, and this example is the highest grade ever given out by PSA - a MINT 9. Bold, bright colors throughout, the image is as clear as could be. Edges are crisp and, if not for a minuscule chip in the bottom right corner and centering which is ever so slightly west on the canvas, this card may have graded 10. An amazing offering.
