Cy Young is the subject of one of the most iconic cards in the set, this portrait of the Hall of Famer in front of a green background. The color of the ink on the Sovereign back matches the front perfectly, but the card's technical grade is severely affected by a red stain and major paper loss on the back. Luckily, those issues do not affect the front in a major way, with some light red staining appearing ever so slightly on the side borders. Thankfully, the front image still displays beautifully and has terrific eye appeal. While there is some creasing present, all creases avoid any direct contact with Young's face, which remains clean.
