Large, 8" x 10" team photo picturing the 1938 New York Yankees in their road grays, posed in front of an empty grandstand.  A noteworthy photograph due to the presence of both a young Joe DiMaggio, and Lou Gehrig in his final full season. Fellow Hall of Famers Red Ruffing, Lefty Gomez, Bill Dickey and Joe McCarthy are also depicted. The Yankees finished atop the American League that season, ultimately sweeping the Cubs in the World Series. The photo is in outstanding condition, authenticated and encapsulated as a Type 1 photo by PSA/DNA.
