Considered by many to be the most beautiful of all prewar cards, the T205 Ty Cobb boasts an attractive portrait image, bathed in color with a rich, red background, a deep green frame, and, of course, the gold (in this case, gold/green) border. Graded GOOD+ 2.5 by PSA, this example does exhibit the kind of edge and corner wear to which T205s are susceptible; chipping to the gold foil borders is a commonly-seen flaw. In this case, print registration of Cobb's image is ever-so-slightly off, another common issue with this particular card, though the registration is by no means distracting. The tougher Honest Long Cut reverse adds some scarcity to the card.
