Original Type 1 studio portrait of breathtaking Hollywood starlet, Marilyn Monroe. A publicity shot for her 1951 20th Century Fox film, "Love Nest," the borderless photo measures a full 8" x 10" with general handling wear mostly limited to the extreme corners. A paper label is affixed to upper-left corner on reverse, over which Photofest credit stamping has been applied. Stamping from the Frolic Gallery appears in the lower-left corner. The image in this photo is used on Monroe's card in the 1950-51 Langa Ramserien set, considered one of her first trading cards.  Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type 1 photo by PSA/DNA.
