c.1961 Type 1 original publicity photo of iconic blonde bombshell, Marilyn Monroe. Taken from a high angle, Monroe peeks innocently towards a 20th Century Fox photographer in this large format portrait. Gentle toning and general handling wear apparent around the perimeter with the central image remaining unaffected. A Culver Pictures credit stamp appears on reverse with handwritten identifier of the Hollywood star towards the top edge. The image in this photo is the same as the image on her 1962 Dutch Gum card. Measures approx. 8" x 10". Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type 1 photo by PSA/DNA.
