1919 sketch book featuring Chicago’s two MLB teams, the Cubs and White Sox. Entitled “Sketch Book and Complete Records of Our Cubs and White Sox” and includes player bios of both teams’ rosters with statistical info complete through the end of the 1918 season. Even players from the infamous “Black Sox” scandal of 1919 in which they helped throw that year’s World Series to the Cincinnati Reds (five games to three) are included. The well-used book measures 5.5" high by 7.25" wide. The original price of the sketch book: 10 cents.  POOR condition with heavy creasing and paper loss on the front cover, yet still intact.
